The City of Bothell takes pride in being a kid-friendly kind of place. Here are some things your offspring, grand-offspring, or any tyke will enjoy doing when you visit.
Park's 'round town in Bothell – a few examples:
The Park at Bothell Landing, right next to the Sammamish River, has outdoor play equipment, lawns, and a great bridge you where you can stand and watch the river roll by.
Blyth Park is a wonderful place for birthday parties, family reunions, and celebrations (if you have a large group event needing a sheltered picnic area with BBQ pit, you’ll need to reserve in advance). Paved bike trail and acres of open lawn offer plenty of room for play and sport.
Cedar Grove Park is another pleasant place to enjoy the sun and the outdoors. Climbing equipment for tots, basketball court, and sheltered picnic area make this a good choice.

Willows Edge Farm
This is a small, family-owned farm with endearing Fjord horses and livestock that welcomes youngsters for free visits (you need to call ahead to arrange the time for a visit). Fjord horses are an ancient, sturdy breed, originally from Norway. Enjoy chickens, bunnies, and more.

Country Village
There’s plenty for kids to see and do here: a small railroad train that chugs around the property, there are ponds and winding pathways with ducks and chickens roaming free, plus picnic areas, an ice cream store, a hair styling salon just for boys and girls and, oh yes, a toy store. www.countryvillagebothell.com
