Meet Martha. She lives in Arizona. Every year when summer hits 100+ degrees, she heads for the Pacific Northwest. Where does she set up her home base? The wooded riverside city of Bothell. Why? Because she’s so close to everything there is to do.

Martha can easily zip into Seattle to browse at the Pike Place Market, tour historic Pioneer Square, or take in  incredible natural beauty on a Puget Sound boat ride. Washington’s two major interstate highways, I-5 and 405, are nearby.

Vancouver, BC, is two hours away to the north. Island-bound ferries are twenty minutes away. Over a dozen wineries are just a few minutes east in Woodinville. If she’s in the mood for hiking or camping, the breathtaking Cascade range is less than an hour away. Or, Martha can get to Mount Rainier in about two hours.
