Internationally Acclaimed Pianist Burkard Schliessmann Performs

Bastyr University invites you to a benefit for the organ fund featuring Steinway artist Burkard Schliessmann.

Join Bastyr University for this performance by internationally acclaimed pianist Burkard Schliessmann, a Steinway artist. Mr. Schliessmann has distinguished himself in the music world as an artist of extraordinary insight.

Requested admission is a $20 donation or $35 per couple and will be taken at the door.

Mr. Schliessmann has earned international recognition for his compelling performances, featuring clarity and subtlety at the highest technical level. Mr. Schliessmann has received many awards and honors as recitalist, recording artist, orchestral soloist and chamber musician.

According to The New York Times, “Schliessmann is representative of the best of the modern school.” His album “Chopin-Schumann Anniversary Edition 2010” on MSR-Classics, released worldwide, received the Critics’ Choice Award 2010 from American Record Guide.
