City of Bothell has a total of 200.84 acres of parks, open space and trails that includes 19 parks, two sportsfield complexes and a skate park. Our parks showcase the Sammamish River, the City's history and an opportunity to get away from it all. Throughout our parks there are picnic shelters that can be reserved.

The City provides a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages and interests including structured classes, teen activities, adult sports and youth camps. Programs are offered at the Lytle House and other City buildings as well as in City parks and school facilities.
Community events are what gives Bothell that hometown feel and the ability to socialize with your neighbors. The Recreation Services Division organizes events like the Community Egg Hunt, Freedom Festival (4th of July Parade, community dance, Re-enactment of the Battle of Concord), Music in the Park, RiverFest, Safe Halloween and Winterfest.
