1889 Dr. Reuben Chase House

The "Chase House," located on the University of Washington, Bothell/Cascadia Community College campus, is a registered historic structure and the home of Bothell's first physician, Dr. Reuben Chase. Dr. Chase occupied the house as early as 1889 and used it as both an office and the community's first hospital. The doctor is credited with stopping a typhoid epidemic in Bothell.
